When she was 8 years old, she was reunited with her birth father. At the time, he was a General for Vivian's army against the Mages. Her adoptive father was the primary enemy of Vivian. Forced into a terrible decision as a child, Sophie ultimately fought on Robert's side, as she saw the corruption that was overtaking Adrian. It was her magic that ultimately won the battle.
Upon the victory, she and her father changed their names, moved to the west coast, and tried live normal, non-supernatural lives. While her father had always harbored a lingering hatred for mages, he was nothing but loving and caring towards her.
During her freshman year of high school, she met you, and you two have been inseparable ever since. Despite the three year age gap (and she was a year ahead of her peers in school), you two had complementary personalities and preferences. When her father, a man who had always approved of you, passed away her Junior year, you were there to support her, and she appreciated every moment of it.
A year after you had joined the military, she graduated high school and started college at NYU. Upon graduating, she got a job working at Bishop Security, her father's old employer. You joined her in New York some short time after this, having spent 5 years in the army with... strange happenings. This is when Sonya revealed to you everything: her original name, the supernatural world, her life as a mage, the Forgotten War, her part in the grand scheme of things, and why she was now trying to work for a company that acts as a front for Necronis' Mage Council.
A year later, she now sits as third in command of Necronis' Watchtower. Neither Necronis nor Mortena (the Second in Command) know that she is actually Sophie Cain.

Throughout the 1970s, she helped the Cardova family rise in criminal power, eventually establishing her own reign a she overthrew the rest of the family. By 1988, she solidified herself as the figurehead for "Supernatural Balance." She ruled both the Mortal and Immortal Worlds as a Queenpin.

He became a police officer in 1978.
In 1980, he was assigned a rookie partner by the name of Valera Delmore (born 1961, deceased as of 2001). Their partnership fostered into love. The two bore a daughter in 1982, and were engaged in 1985.
In 1987, during a stakeout regarding the Cardova Family's illegal arms trade, a woman by the name of Vivian Cardova led Crimden and Valera to the warehouse where the guns were held; she claimed she wanted out of the family. She worked with the police and prosecutors to take down the rest of the family, legally, with the promise of immunity from persecution.
In 1991, Crimden left Valera and his Wolf Tribe for this woman.
In 2000, Crimden and Vivian gathered forces to prevent Necronis from overtaking the Mage faction of New York City. Despite winning the final battle, Necronis is in power today.
In 2001, he was last seen leaving an infant child, presumably his daughter with the head of the Storm Lords tribe.
He has not been seen or heard from since.
